This first entry is going to be very long, and I am sorry about this but i had to read about 70 pages of the previous book to find some questions and answers that would have driven me nuts later while reading on. So I decided that my first book is going to be "Xenocide" sequel to "Speaker for the Dead" from the "Ender's Game" series, Ive been trying to find time to finish this series for about a year now and this would be a great time to do so. You have said you read Ender's game before***SPOILER ALERT***, and in speaker for the dead he uses his intellect and talents to try and educate the world about how his actions were wrong and how it was an act of fear towards "ramen" or aliens. This book is centralized around "pigges" which are kind of like the buggers from the first book, they are a new race that the starway congress has been watching to make sure there developments are not harsh and that human contact is cut off to make sure no leaps in technological advances are made. Ender has been traveling through worlds for over 3,000 years with his sister Valentine, but on the current planet they are on Valentine has found a lover/husband and started a family. Ender had promised to stay with her, and he has, he ignored numerous calls for speakings and never had the intention of leaving. But when he received a call from Lusitania, (which is the planet the new colony with the piggies are on) he has no choice but to accept it. This decision splits him and valentine apart for the first time since him coming back from his training days from Ender's Game, both him and valentine understand why he has to go and why she needs to stay but neither can overcome the connection they share from traveling throughout the world together for 3,000 years(also this trip takes 22 year).His reasoning is that the starway congress is ready to extinguish the new race because they have killed head of the observers/scientists of the colony trying to gain knowlege from their people. He is going to speak the death of the scientist, while trying to defuse the situation between the colony and the congress. This is his attempt to redeem his acts for wrongly destroying the buggers colonoy for the first xenocide, and to try and find a new home for the bugger queen.

In Xenocide it first starts out with a story about about love and pain basically, its a short ten page poetic bond between a sick wife and loving husband who found love in each. The mother has bones of paper and has been longing for death for some time, the father has been trying to coupe with the fact she will be leaving and he has to preach her teaching into their kids. Then it cuts into Valentine hearing about enders problems on Lusitania and her taking a voyage to come help be his second hand to be the voices of reason in the colony with thier superior intellects. On her 30 year trip over (only 2 weeks for her) she resumes the name Demontheses and writes essays every hour trying to keep up with the time lapses during light speed travel, making it seem as though Demontheses is writing these every 2 weeks. She works herself almost to death trying to keep the public on the rebellion's side rather than to side with the starway congress, on the debate for the piggies extinction or not. and thats where I leave off, this will all be more organized next time and Im not even sure if I did this write at all, If I didnt my next post will be I just wanted to let you know that I read and put some effort
